But as an African American woman, I can tell you that I'm voting for the candidate whose plans and priciples I most strongly believe in. And that's Obama, hands down - has been the moment he announced his candidacy, after I read his memoire. Way before Oprah endorsed him. Oprah is a wonderfully smart and gifted woman, and I'm glad she's giving the person who she believes in a media platform. Of course, he has to close the deal... which I believe he will. Sure, there are always sub-texts. But as an African American woman, I can tell you that I’m voting for the candidate whose plans and priciples I most strongly believe in.
